Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rinse and trim the tough ends of the asparagus, about 1-2 inches from the bottom.
  • Wrap one piece of bacon around each asparagus stalk, starting from the bottom up with slight overlapping.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Arrange the bacon-wrapped asparagus in a single layer.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add garlic powder or paprika if desired.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
  • Remove from the oven and let sit for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

For a hint of sweetness, drizzle honey or balsamic glaze before serving. Consider using seasonal vegetables like green beans or zucchini alongside for variety.
