  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic provides an aromatic punch.
  • 1 Lemon, juiced The acidity adds a refreshing brightness.
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped It adds a pop of color and freshness; dried parsley works too.
  • Salt and Pepper Essential for seasoning.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil. Place the salmon fillets inside, skin side down.

Making the Garlic Butter

  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and half of the chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Coating and Baking

  • Pour this garlic lemon butter over the fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Spoon some of the buttery mixture over the tops for extra flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Garnishing

  • Remove from the oven, sprinkle the remaining parsley on top, and add more lemon juice if desired.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Check for doneness by ensuring the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Salmon can be frozen for up to a month, but is best enjoyed fresh.
