  • Salt and pepper, to taste Season to your preference.
  • 2 cloves 2 cloves garlic, minced Minced garlic enhances flavor.

For the Lemon Sauce

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice About 2 lemons; zest can be added for extra flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Adds a tangy kick.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Can be swapped for dill for traditional flavor.
  • Lemon slices, for garnish For an aesthetic appeal.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the salmon on the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and chopped parsley.
  • Drizzle the lemon sauce over the salmon fillets and add extra lemon slices.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve hot with your favorite sides and a sprinkle of fresh parsley on top.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C).
