For the Flatbread

  • 4 pieces Flatbread (naan, pita, or homemade)

For the Toppings

  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken (shredded rotisserie chicken) Ensure well-seasoned
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce Choose your favorite brand
  • 1 cup Cheese (shredded mozzarella or cheddar) Optional: add blue cheese
  • 1 medium Red Onion (thinly sliced) For crunch
  • 0.5 cup Cilantro or Green Onions (chopped) For garnish, parsley can be used as a substitute

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lay flatbreads on a baking sheet and spread BBQ sauce generously.

Assembly

  • Distribute the shredded chicken evenly over the sauce.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the chicken.
  • Scatter thinly sliced red onions over the cheese.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from oven and garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions.
  • Slice into wedges and serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers wrapped in foil or plastic wrap in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
