Pork & Sauce

  • 1 pound 1 pound pulled pork (leftover, rotisserie, or homemade)
  • 1 cup 1 cup BBQ sauce Choose your favorite brand or homemade.
  • ½ teaspoon ½ teaspoon garlic powder For added depth of flavor.
  • ½ teaspoon ½ teaspoon smoked paprika To enhance the BBQ flavor.

Toppings

  • 1.5 cups 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to swap with cheddar for a sharper taste.
  • ½ cup ½ cup red onion, thinly sliced Sweet onion works beautifully too.
  • ¼ cup ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped For garnish; optional but adds freshness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine your pulled pork, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Stir until everything is coated.
  • Roll out your pizza crust on a lightly floured surface or spread it out onto a pizza stone.
  • Spread the pulled pork mixture evenly over the crust.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the top.
  • Scatter the thinly sliced red onions on top.

Cooking

  • Pop your pizza into the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired, slice it up, and serve hot.

Notes

This pizza is customizable; add your favorite toppings. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months.
