Honey Glaze

  • 1/2 cup honey Sweetens the glaze beautifully.
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar Balances sweetness with tang.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Enhances overall flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Rub this spice blend generously over the chicken thighs.
  • Let the seasoned chicken marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes; overnight is best for deep flavor absorption.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the chicken thighs skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 7-8 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook for another 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Glazing

  • In a saucepan, combine honey, apple cider vinegar, and soy sauce. Whisk over low heat until blended.
  • Brush this glaze generously over the chicken during the last 5 minutes of grilling.

Serving

  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
