Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Shredded Chicken Cooked and shredded chicken. Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • ¾ cup Buffalo Sauce Adjust based on preferred heat level.
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese Substitute with Greek yogurt for a healthier twist.
  • 10 small Slider Buns Soft and fluffy buns. Whole-wheat buns offer a healthier option.
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded Substitute with pepper jack for an extra kick.
  • to taste Green Onions Optional for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and cream cheese. Stir until well combined.
  • Place the slider buns cut-side up on a baking tray.
  • Spoon the buffalo chicken mixture onto the bottom halves of each bun.
  • Top each mound with shredded cheese.
  • Cover with the top halves of the buns and cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sliced green onions for garnish.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
