Crust

  • 2 cups Crushed Graham Crackers For a crunchy base
  • 1/2 cup Melted Butter To bind the crust

Cream Cheese Layer

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar To sweeten the layer
  • 8 oz Whipped Topping Or homemade whipped cream

Chocolate Pudding Layer

  • 1 pkg Chocolate Pudding Mix For a rich layer
  • 2 cups Milk To prepare pudding

Toppings

  • 1 cup Crushed Candy Canes For garnish and flavor

Preparation

  • Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers with melted butter and press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish. Set aside.
  • Mix the Cream Cheese Layer: In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Fold in half of the whipped topping.
  • Layer One: Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  • Make the Pudding Layer: In another bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened. Spread this layer over the cream cheese.
  • Add the Last Layer: Top the chocolate pudding with the remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle crushed candy canes generously on top.
  • Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set before serving.

Notes

For variations, try using white chocolate pudding or adding peppermint extract. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
