Ingredients

For the Garlic Bread

  • 1 loaf French bread Sturdy base for holding the filling.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For that aromatic hit.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil To brush over the bread.

For the Filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast Shredded or diced; rotisserie chicken works well.
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce Homemade or high-quality store-bought.
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded For gooey goodness.
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped For garnish, fresh or dried.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and hollow out the center.
  • In a bowl, combine minced garlic with olive oil and a sprinkle of salt. Brush this mixture over the cut sides of the bread.

Baking

  • Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  • While the bread is baking, heat the cooked chicken in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the Alfredo sauce and mix well until heated through.
  • Fill each bread half generously with the chicken Alfredo mixture.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the filled bread and place it back into the oven for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese bubbles and is slightly browned.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy bread, let it cool slightly before slicing. You can also prepare the chicken Alfredo mix ahead of time and assemble and bake when ready.
