  • 1 large large pizza crust homemade or store-bought; cauliflower crust is a healthy option

Toppings

  • 1 cup cooked chicken shredded or diced; rotisserie chicken makes it quick and easy
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded; try adding provolone
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated for extra cheesy goodness
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or use fresh herbs if available

  • Optional toppings: spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, or mushrooms be creative with toppings

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). This hot temperature will give your crust a deliciously crispy texture.
  • Roll out your pizza crust on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix the shredded or diced chicken with the Alfredo sauce. Spread this mixture evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a small border for the crust.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses generously over the chicken and sauce mixture. Add Italian seasoning on top for an aromatic touch.

Baking

  • Place the pizza in the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown, and the crust is cooked through.
  • Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Serving

  • Cut your Chicken Alfredo Pizza into wedges and enjoy as is or add a sprinkle of fresh herbs.

Notes

Wrap any leftover slices tightly and refrigerate for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze the pizza (without toppings) for up to 2 months. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes. Use whole wheat crust for a nutritious touch, or load with vegetables for additional flavor.
