  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded Melted goodness is crucial!
  • 4 strips Bacon, cooked and crumbled Because everything is better with bacon!
  • 3 cups Egg Noodles, cooked Or swap for your favorite pasta.
  • 1 cup Sour Cream You can replace this with plain yogurt for a healthier alternative.
  • 1 bunch Green Onions, chopped For a fresh and zesty garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the egg noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, sour cream, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  • Gently fold the cooked noodles into the creamy chicken mixture.

Baking

  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon generously on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
  • Once it’s out of the oven, sprinkle with green onions.

Serving

  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can customize this dish by adding veggies like spinach or broccoli. For a Southwest twist, swap ranch seasoning for taco seasoning, and include corn and black beans.
