Pasta and Chicken

  • 8 oz Pasta Choose your favorite type, such as fettuccine or penne.
  • 2 medium Chicken Breasts Tender and juicy.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 4 cloves Garlic Fresh garlic adds flavor.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Provides creaminess.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated for best melting experience.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Enhances flavor and prevents sticking.
  • Salt and Pepper Essential seasonings.

Garnish

  • Fresh Parsley For garnish, optional.

Preparation

  • Start by boiling salted water in a large pot. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken, cooking for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to low and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Making the Sauce

  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir until combined. Gradually add the grated Parmesan, stirring until the cheese melts into a silky sauce. If too thick, add reserved pasta water.

Combining and Serving

  • Slice the chicken, then add it and the cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss everything together.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of extra Parmesan.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove with a splash of cream or reserved pasta water.
