Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, add the chicken and sear on each side for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  • In the same skillet, toss in the minced garlic and cook it in the leftover juices until fragrant for about 1 minute.
  • Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  • Stir in the fresh lemon juice and grated Parmesan cheese, allowing the cheese to melt and blend into the cream.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the luscious sauce over it, and let it simmer for a final few minutes.
  • Top with chopped parsley for a burst of color and freshness.
