  • 2 cups Water For boiling.
  • 2 bags Chai tea bags The star of the show.
  • 1 cup Milk of choice Almond, oat, or whole milk.
  • to taste Sweetener Honey, sugar, or maple syrup.
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon For authentic chai flavor.
  • 1 tsp Ginger For warmth and spice.
  • 1 tsp Cloves Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 tsp Cardamom For that aromatic chai essence.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract Optional, for enhanced flavor.

Preparation

  • Begin by bringing 2 cups of water to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
  • Once boiling, turn off the heat and add your chai tea bags. Let them steep for about 5 minutes to extract all those wonderful flavors.
  • In a separate pot, heat your milk over medium heat until warm, being careful not to let it boil—about 5 minutes should do.
  • Remove the tea bags and whisk in your chosen spices and sweetener to the brewed tea.
  • Pour the warm milk into your spiced chai mix and stir gently until combined.
  • Pour your chai latte into your favorite mug. Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top for a finishing touch, and savor every sip!

Notes
