  • 12 slices Roast Beef Tender and flavorful; slice it thinly for the best texture.
  • 6 buns Slider Buns Soft, fluffy; whole grain or gluten-free options work too.
  • 6 slices Swiss or Cheddar Cheese Melts beautifully; swap with provolone or pepper jack for a spicy kick.
  • 3 tablespoons Horseradish Sauce or Mustard Adds a zesty kick; mix with BBQ sauce or aioli for different flavor profiles.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter For brushing on the buns; can add garlic or herbs for a gourmet finish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them attached at the bottom. Place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Layer the sliced roast beef generously over the bottom buns.
  • Add a layer of cheese on top of the roast beef.
  • Spread your choice of horseradish sauce or mustard on the cut side of the top buns.
  • Place the top buns over the cheese.
  • In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in optional garlic powder or herbs. Brush this mixture over the top of the buns.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops are golden and crispy.
  • Let them cool for a minute before slicing apart and serving.

Notes

For variations, try blue cheese for a bold flavor, add veggies like sautéed peppers and onions, or make it spicy with jalapeños or sriracha.
