Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  • Mix the minced garlic, olive oil, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper in a small bowl until well combined.
  • Rub the garlic mixture all over the chicken thighs.
  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese generously over the thighs.
  • Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the skin turns golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Rest for 5 minutes before serving to let the juices settle.

Notes

Add veggies like asparagus or Brussels sprouts to the baking sheet for a one-pan meal. You can also switch the cheese for sharp cheddar or crumbled feta for a bolder flavor.
