Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • In a large pot, cook 8 ounces of whole grain pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Remember to add salt to the water for flavor.

Sautéing the Garlic

  • While the pasta cooks, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Cooking the Chicken

  • Add 1 pound of cubed chicken breast to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.

Combining Ingredients

  • Once the chicken is cooked, stir in 2 cups of fresh spinach. Cook until wilted, then add the drained pasta to the skillet.

Finishing the Dish

  • Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta. Toss to combine and let the heat melt the cheese into a creamy sauce.

Notes
