Ingredients

For the Salmon Burgers

  • 1 lb Organic Salmon Fillets Fresh, flaky, and packed with flavor.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Traditional or gluten-free.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill, chopped Adds a burst of freshness.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder For a hint of warmth and depth.
  • Salt and Pepper To taste.

For the Tartar Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Creamy base for the sauce.
  • 1/4 cup Pickles, chopped Adds crunch and tanginess.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Brightens the flavors.

Instructions

Preparation

  • If using fresh salmon, finely chop the fillets. In a mixing bowl, add the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Use your hands to shape the mixture into burger patties, about 1-inch thick.

Make the Tartar Sauce

  • In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chopped pickles, and lemon juice. Stir until well blended.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat, add a touch of oil, then place the patties onto the surface.
  • Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.

Serving

  • Place the salmon burgers on fresh buns, generously slathered with tartar sauce. Add lettuce and slices of tomato.

Notes

Chill the patties for 30 minutes before cooking to help them hold their shape better. You can swap Greek yogurt for mayonnaise in the tartar sauce or add a splash of hot sauce for extra kick.
