  • 1 pound Sliced Ham Use your favorite type—smoked, honey, or even turkey ham.
  • 12 slices Swiss Cheese Melts beautifully; can swap for cheddar or provolone.
  • 1/2 cup Butter For brushing; adds richness and helps create a golden top.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard A hint of tang; can replace with yellow mustard.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Elevates the flavor profile—fresh minced garlic works wonders too!
  • to taste Everything Bagel Seasoning Optional; for an extra crunch and flavor kick.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking.
  • Carefully slice the slider buns in half, keeping the top and bottom together. Nestle the bottoms into the prepared baking dish.

Assembly

  • Evenly distribute the sliced ham over the bottom halves of the buns.
  • Place a slice of Swiss cheese over the ham. Add an extra slice if desired.
  • Place the top halves of the buns back onto the sandwiches.

Finishing Touches

  • In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and optional additional seasonings.
  • Liberally brush the butter mixture over the tops of the sliders.
  • Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning over the buttery tops if using.

Baking

  • Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes, until the sliders are golden and the cheese is melted.

Notes

Feel free to make variations such as using whole-grain buns, adding fresh spinach, or including roasted red peppers for a gourmet touch. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days, and they can be reheated in the oven.
