  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts Can substitute with thighs for richer flavor.
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 cups Spinach or kale Added for nutrition and color.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese For sprinkling on top.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crock pot.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, garlic, chicken broth, and seasonings until well combined.
  • Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken, ensuring it’s well-covered.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, add spinach or kale and allow them to wilt and meld into the dish.
  • When done, shred the chicken within the pot and mix everything together before plating.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To freeze, allow it to cool and then store in a freezer-safe container. Thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat gently before serving.
