  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Part-skim mozzarella can be used for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup Sliced Pepperoni Turkey pepperoni is a lean alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning Can substitute with dried oregano or basil.
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking Spray or Olive Oil For crispiness.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice each bagel in half and lay them cut-side up on a baking sheet. Lightly spray them with cooking spray or brush with olive oil for extra crispiness.
  • Spread a generous tablespoon of pizza sauce on each bagel half, reaching the edges.
  • Sprinkle a fistful of shredded mozzarella on top of the sauce.
  • Add a few slices of pepperoni on each mini pizza.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let them cool for a minute, then serve up warm.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes after baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
