Main Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta Choose your favorite type—fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti.
  • 4 tablespoons butter For a rich depth of flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic Fresh garlic is essential for that vibrant taste.
  • 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth Serves as the base for the creamy sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Creates that creamy texture we crave.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated adds the best flavor.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Fresh parsley For garnish.

Instructions

Cooking Steps

  • In a large pot or skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
  • Stir in the uncooked pasta, coating it in the garlicky butter.
  • Add the broth, bringing everything to a gentle boil. Reduce the heat to simmer, cover the pot, and let it cook according to the pasta package instructions (usually around 10-12 minutes).
  • Once the pasta is tender, pour in the heavy cream and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Taste your masterpiece and add salt and pepper as needed.
  • Finish with fresh parsley on top, and serve warm.
