Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) for a perfectly crispy crust.
  • Lightly oil a large sheet pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Roll or stretch the pizza dough on a floured surface to fit the sheet pan.
  • Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Tear fresh mozzarella into chunks and scatter across the sauce. Arrange halved cherry tomatoes among the cheese.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden, and crust is golden brown.
  • Let cool for a minute, then scatter fresh basil leaves on top before slicing.
  • Slice into squares and serve warm.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat slices in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
