Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the can of diced tomatoes (with their juices) and mix well. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in the cream of mushroom soup until combined and creamy.
  • Fold in the cooked pasta, ensuring every noodle is coated with the delicious sauce.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. Smooth it out.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously on top.
  • Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
