Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and set a wire rack on top.
  • Pat chicken tenders dry and season lightly with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  • Wrap each tender with a single slice of bacon, overlapping slightly, and secure with a toothpick.
  • Arrange tenders on the rack, seam-side down. Bake for 15 minutes.

Glazing and Finishing

  • Whisk together brown sugar, hot honey, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  • After 15 minutes, brush each bacon-wrapped tender generously with the glaze and return to the oven for 5–10 more minutes.
  • Broil for 1–2 minutes if you want extra caramelization, watching closely to avoid burning.
  • Let rest 3–5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

For healthier options, use turkey bacon or bake instead of frying. Serve with various sides or sauces as desired.
