  • 1.5 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded For that gooey, melty quality. Feel free to use vegan cheese if you prefer a dairy-free version.

Vegetable toppings

  • 1 cup Bell peppers, diced Use a mix of colors for visual appeal and taste.
  • 0.5 cup Red onion, thinly sliced Adds sweetness and crunch.
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced For a meaty texture without meat!
  • 1 cup Spinach, fresh A nutritious addition that wilts beautifully.

Optional toppings

  • Cherry tomatoes, olives, arugula, or your favorite herbs

Preparation

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare Your Flatbreads: On a baking sheet, lay down your flatbreads. Brush them lightly with olive oil.
  • Spread the Sauce: Evenly distribute the homemade pizza sauce over each flatbread, leaving a little edge around the crust.
  • Add the Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on the sauce.
  • Layer the Veggies: Start with the bell peppers and red onion, followed by mushrooms and spinach.
  • Final Cheese Layer: Add a little more mozzarella on top of the veggies.

Cooking

  • Bake to Perfection: Place your baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Once out of the oven, let it cool for a minute, slice it up, and gather everyone around the table.
